Dallas concludes its three-game Western Canada road trip against a team they have struggled against the past two seasons.
The Dallas Stars (7-1-1) travel to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, to take on the Vancouver Canucks (7-2-1) tonight at Rogers Arena. Puck drop is at 9 p.m. CT.
Dallas enters Vancouver winning three consecutive games after sweeping its two-game Alberta road trip defeating the Flames and Oilers on Wednesday and Thursday night. Dallas currently sits in first place in the Central Division.
Vancouver has won six consecutive games against Dallas dating back to the 2021-22 season. The past two seasons, the Canucks have missed the Playoffs as the Stars have made the Playoffs the past two seasons. Three straight three-game season sweeps over the past two seasons over the Stars for the Canucks with Dallas only picking one point out of a possible 12 over the Canucks in six games.
Vancouver finished sixth in the Pacific Division last season with 83 points; Vancouver is currently second in the Pacific Division with 15 points.
Forward Elias Pettersson leads Vancouver with 19 points (5G, 14A) for the Canucks. Defenseman Quinn Hughes (4G, 12A) and forward J.T. Miller (6G, 10A) each have 16 points for Vancouver. Forward Brock Boeser leads the Canucks with eight goals on the season.
Vancouver enters tonight with two consecutive wins over the Predators and Sharks. Vancouver defeated the Sharks on Thursday night in its last game 10-1 in San Jose, California.
The Stars road record this season is 4-0-1; The Canucks home record is 3-0-1.
