Dallas looks to bounce back after losing its first regular season game on Thursday.

The Dallas Stars (4-1-1) host the Columbus Blue Jackets (3-3-2) tonight at American Airlines Center with puck drop at 7 p.m. CT.

Dallas dropped its last game against the Maple Leafs 4-1 on Thursday. Columbus enters tonight losing three straight games with two-of-three of the losses occurring in overtime.

Forward Jack Roslovic (2G, 4A) and defenseman Ivan Provorov (6A) of Columbus have the most points on the team with six points each. Boone Jenner has the most goals on Columbus with four.

Dallas’ home record is 2-0-1; Columbus’ road record is 1-0-1.

After the 2020-21 56-game shortened season where Dallas and Columbus played each other eight times, the two teams have split the regular season series over the past two seasons. Last season, the Stars scored three goals against the Jackets in the two game against Columbus.

The Stars will head to Western Canada after tonight for a three-game road trip to play the Flames, Oilers and Canucks.

For the first time this season, the Stars will wear their blackout alternate jerseys.
