After picking up a road win in Pittsburgh on Tuesday, Dallas goes for its fourth consecutive win against Toronto.

The Dallas Stars (4-0-1) take on the Toronto Maple Leafs (4-2-0) tonight at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m. CT.

Dallas has won both its home games to start the 2023-24 season. However, the Stars have lost their last four games against the Maple Leafs. Two have been overtime losses.

The Maple Leafs are in third place in the Atlantic Division with eight points. William Nylander (5G, 5A) and John Taveres (3G, 7A) lead Toronto in scoring with 10 points each. Auston Matthews is tied for second in the NHL this season with seven goals.

Dallas’ offense has been hot scoring nine goals in its past two games. Dallas scored five against the Flyers two games ago and scored four in Pittsburgh on Tuesday.

Joe Pavelski leads the Stars in scoring with six points this season and has recorded a point in the past four games. Wyatt Johnston has scored a goal the past two games for Dallas. Roope Hintz has recorded at least one point in the four games he’s played in since returning from a one-game absence in the season opener.

Former Stars defenseman John Klingberg will return to the AAC this time as a Maple Leaf. Last season, Klingberg returned for one game as a Duck and as a member of the Wild during the first round of the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Klingberg has five assists with the Toronto so far this season.
