Stars Stay in Edmonton for Game 4 of WCF; Look to Push Oilers on Brink of Elimination

For the Western Conference’s top seed, they will attempt to replicate what they did in the first and second round of the 2024 Playoffs.

The Edmonton Oilers host the Dallas Stars in Game 4 of the 2024 Western Conference Finals at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. CT. Dallas leads the series 2-1 with a chance to push Edmonton to the brink of elimination.

Against the Golden Knights in round one and Avalanche in round two, the Stars won both Game 3 and Game 4 on the road. They will have a chance to do it again after earning a 5-3 win in Game 3 on Memorial Day.

After trailing 2-0 after the first period, Dallas scored three goals in a 3:33 span to take a 3-2 lead. Adam Henrique tied the game at three with under 1 minute remaining in the second period.

Jason Robertson scored the go-ahead goal to make it 4-3 Stars to complete the hat trick with 8:06 remaining in the third period. Miro Heiskanen iced the game with an empty-net goal. Dallas improved to 6-1 on the road in the 2024 Playoffs.

After not playing since Game 4 against the Avalanche last round, Roope Hintz returned to the lineup and recorded 2 assists and had a +2 rating. Jake Oettinger made 28 saves; Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn each recorded 2 assists.

Despite allowing in 4 goals on 21 shots on goal in Game 3, Stuart Skinner will start in goal in Game 4 for the Oilers.

The rest of the Western Conference Final schedule with times has been released. If the Oilers win, the series will go to at least six games. If the Stars win, they will have a chance to clinch the West on Friday night.
