After a win on Sunday night against the Coyotes, it’s time for the Stars to continue their four-game road trip farther out West.
The Dallas Stars (44-19-9) travel to SAP Center to play the San Jose Sharks (16-46-8) in San Jose, California. It is the third and final meeting of the season and for the month of March. Puck drop is scheduled for 9:30 p.m. CT.
On Sunday night, the Stars won their fourth consecutive game against the Coyotes 4-2 to sweep the three-game regular season series. Tyler Seguin and Matt Duchene each recorded one goal and two assists. Jake Oettinger made 26 saves and has won his last three starts.
Despite having the fewest points in the NHL with 40, the Sharks have given the Stars two hard fought games this season. In the first meeting in Dallas on March 2, the Stars won 3-2 in a shootout that went seven rounds with Jamie Benn scoring the shootout winner.
