It’s a quick turnaround for the Stars as they stay on the road for a back-to-back.
The Dallas Stars (31-13-6) travel to Toronto, Ontario, Canada, to play the Toronto Maple Leafs (25-15-8) at Scotiabank Arena. Puck drop is scheduled for 6 p.m.
Last night, the Stars played their first game back after the All-Star break and defeated the Sabres 2-1 in Buffalo. Jake Oettinger finished with 47 saves, a new season high. Matt Duchene and Sam Steel scored the goals for Dallas.
Heading into tonight, Toronto has won the last five games against Dallas with two being in overtime. In the first matchup this season in Dallas, the Leafs won 4-1. Morgan Rielly recorded a goal and an assist in the win for the Leafs; Mason Marchment score the lone goal for Dallas.
William Nylander leads the Leafs in points with 62 and assists with 39 this season; Auston Matthews leads the Leafs in goals with 40 this season; Mitchell Marner has 54 points (21G, 33A) this season.

Toronto lost its first game after the All-Star break on Tuesday night against the Islanders 3-2. Toronto is 11-10-2 at home this season.
