After a 5-1 home win on Tuesday against the Kings, the Stars begin a four-game road trip in the city of brotherly love.
The Dallas Stars (26-12-5) travel to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to play the Philadelphia Flyers (24-14-6) at Wells Fargo Center. Puck drop is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT.
On Oct. 21, 2023, the two teams met in Dallas in a thrilling 5-4 overtime game with Joe Pavelski scoring the overtime winner for the Stars. Despite the loss, the Flyers scored three shorthanded goals in the game. Wyatt Johnston recorded a goal and two assists in the game.
The Flyers fell to 3-1-1 after the loss to the Stars. Today, the Flyers have been one of the biggest surprises this season after finishing 26th in points last season. Philadelphia is in second place in the Metropolitan Division with 54 points and four points behind the New York Rangers for the division lead.
The Flyers enter tonight with four consecutive wins. Travis Konecny leads the Flyers in goals with 21 and points with 40.
For the Stars, there will be no lineup changes from Tuesday night. Jake Oettinger will remain in goal for the Stars.
