For the last time for the 2023-24 regular season, it’s a rematch of the 2023 Western Conference Finals.

The Dallas Stars (15-7-3) host the NHL’s best Vegas Golden Knights (17-5-5) today at American Airlines Center. Puck drop is scheduled for 3 p.m. CT. Vegas looks to sweep the three-game regular season series against Dallas.

Both times Dallas and Vegas have played each other, the games have went past 60 minutes. Vegas won the first meeting 3-2 in a shootout in Vegas on Oct. 17. In the second meeting on Nov. 22 in Dallas, Vegas won 2-1 with Jack Eichel scoring the game winning goal for Vegas in overtime.

Vegas goaltender Adin Hill started both games for the Knights against the Stars and recorded the win in both. Hill is out today dealing with a lower body injury.

Goaltender Logan Thompson picked up the win in Vegas’ last game with Hill out of the lineup on Wednesday night in St. Louis against the Blues; Vegas won 6-3 scoring five unanswered after trailing 3-1. The Golden Knights in their past four games are 3-0-1.

The Stars enter today winning one game on their three-game road trip out East. Dallas lost both games in Florida to the Lightning and Panthers before picking up a 5-4 shootout win on Thursday in Washington, D.C. against the Capitals. Goaltender Scott Wedgewood picked up his fifth win of the season and Roope Hintz scored two goals for the Stars.
