After dropping Monday night’s game at home to the Bruins, the Stars hit the road to begin another three-game road trip and look to end two-game losing streak.
The Dallas Stars (7-3-1) face the Columbus Blue Jackets (4-5-3) tonight at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. Puck drop is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CT. Tonight concludes the two-game regular season series between Dallas and Columbus.
On Oct. 30, the two teams met for the first time this season with Dallas securing a 5-3 win over Columbus at American Airlines Center. Five different Stars scored during the game and 10 different Stars recorded at least one point.
Both Dallas and Columbus enter tonight losing its past two games. Dallas currently sits second in the Central Division and Columbus currently sits sixth in the Metropolitan Division.
Columbus has a home record of 3-3-1; Dallas has a road record of 4-1-1.
Blue Jackets defenseman Ivan Provorov leads the team with nine points (9A) and forward Boone Jenner leads the team with six goals.
This is the first game in three days once again for the Stars. Dallas had three games in four days last week on the road as well. After tonight, Dallas will be in Winnipeg on Saturday afternoon and Minnesota on Sunday evening.
