Dallas stays in Alberta to play Oilers in its first back-to-back of 2023-24

After defeating the Flames last night in Calgary, Dallas has a quick turnaround with another game in Alberta, Canada.

The Dallas Stars (6-1-1) travel to Rogers Place to play the Edmonton Oilers (2-5-1) at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, with puck drop at 8 p.m. CT. Dallas plays its first back-to-back of the 2023-24 season.

In the three games played between the two teams last season, the Oilers won the regular season series 2-1-0. The Stars only win against Edmonton came on Nov. 5, 2022. Jamie Benn scored a hat trick for the Stars in the win.

Leon Draisaitl leads the Oilers in scoring with 13 points (4G, 9A). Three other Oilers players are tied for second with nine points; Connor McDavid (2G, 7A), Evan Bouchard (3G, 6A) and Zach Hyman (3G, 6A).

Edmonton won its last game on Sunday against Calgary in the 2023 Heritage Classic 5-2 after losing four consecutive games.

Dallas enters tonight winners of two straight and a road record of 3-0-1.
