The Dallas Stars head to Sin City to take on the Vegas Golden Knights for their first road game of the 2023-24 season.

Puck drop is at 9:30 p.m. CT at T-Mobile Arena. The Stars and Knights have their first rematch from last season’s Western Conference Final.

Dallas will play its second game of the season tonight as they won its season opener on Oct. 12 against the St. Louis Blues 2-1 in a shootout. Vegas has won all three of its games this season. All have been 4-1 wins against the Ducks, Sharks and Kraken.

Chandler Stephenson leads the Knights in scoring with five points this season (2G, 3A).

The last time the Knights and Stars played was Game 6 of last year’s Conference Final. The Knights defeated the Stars 6-0 in Dallas to clinch the Western Conference.

Tonight will also be the first time Stars captain Jamie Benn will step onto the ice in Vegas since Game 2 of last year’s WCF. Benn didn’t play in Game 5 at Vegas as he was serving his suspension for his cross-check on Vegas captain Mark Stone in Game 3. Most would expect the boobirds to be out for Benn.

Dallas’ road record last season was 25-11-5. Dallas won the regular season series last season 3-0 against Vegas with two of the wins coming in a shootout.
